In response to her open stand, various politicians have expressed the need to focus on the climate change issue. Wealthy US philanthropists and investors have provided almost half a million pounds Climate Rescue Fund to support the Exticction Rebellion movement and school strikes. Greta has won a number of awards and Time magazine named her one of the most influential person in the world in 2019.
