He sells his tacos for three dollars and adds free guacamole so that as many people as possible can afford his animal-free food. Raula Medina’s tacos include a plant-based alternative to asada, barbacoa or chorizo, which he makes from beets. The Mexican chef selects quality spices, high quality ingredients and his dishes are packed with flavor. He currently lives in L.A., but often returns to his native Santa Ana, where he draws inspiration for his plant-based tacos. Its goal is for people of all ethnicities, lifestyles and backgrounds to have access to healthy, delicious, plant-based food.
