Activist Matt Pritchard has decided to take on the challenge of a lifetime – rowing across the Atlantic Ocean to raise money for charity. Together with their team of three, they will row 3,200 miles from Lanzarote to Antigua. They estimate that the trip will take 35 to 45 days. They want to donate the money they raise to the animal shelter Dean Farm Trust, of which Matt is a patron.
Matt Pritchard said the trip will be a physical and mental challenge for the entire crew. However, at a time when a global pandemic has hit us, helping those who are suffering is extremely important, he said.
The team begins their Atlantic Dash challenge today, March 3rd. You can follow their journey here: https://monkeyfistadventures.com/atlantic-dash/
